  24. So as I read this, all the atapi.device can do is add CD-Roms to the A4000, and
  25. that it can not handle 3 or more IDE Hard Drives.

  27. Would it be possible to use a mountlist as a means to replace a CD-Rom with a
  28. third Hard Drive. ie replace the DosDriver CD0 with one specific to the third
  29. HDrive added.

  36. Yes, my A4000 does boot from cold, but it waits a full 10 seconds before it runs
  37. through the startup-sequence. The two drives I'm using are as follows,

  39. As the main boot drive, a Conner Peripherals 1275 (This causes the slow boot
  40. problems, by removing this and replacing with any other drive removes the slow
  41. cold-boot.)

  43. The Slave is a Western Digital ST3660A 575 Mb.

  45. It's a bit of a pain, but nothing to get bothered about.
